A previous independent contractor replaced some light fixtures on our side door. The original fixtures were attached directly to our siding and the new ones were just loosely attached.

I texted pictures to Eric; he came back with a quote right away and within a week, reinstalled the light on a PVC base and painted it to match the trim.

All for a very reasonable price.

We needed some fascia and siding replaced and exterior painting done on our house and I could not have been more pleased with how quickly and well Preserve Services did the job. The work was excellent , done in a timely manner, and the price was fair. We keep going back to Preserve because Carol and her crew are top notch professionals. They work quickly, skillfully, and are always respectful of our home and property. Good work. Responsive and clear in his communications. Licenses were up to date and was prompt at each step. Really appreciated. Not cheap but feel I got good value from the work.

Preserve Services did three separate jobs in a brief period. First, and most difficult, they replaced a rake board that had been damaged by borer bees. This was on a steep roof and an eye for safety was necessary. They also replaced a partially rotted fence, which now looks like new. And third they replaced weather damaged elements on a pergola. After the repairs the crew power washed as appropriate and painted. For the amount and quality of the work, I thought the expense to be well worth it. I highly recommend their services.

The owner, Rich Babineau, fulfilled every promise made, and oversaw his excellent employees from start to finish. The painters were very skillful and worked an eleven hour day due to a rainy forcast. The owner held to his estimate doing some minor carpentry at no additional charge. I recommend them without resevation and will have them back in the future.

Nei and his team from Preserve Services in Sudbury did extensive work for us at our house in Wayland this summer (2025), and did an amazing job. I cannot recommend him and his team more highly for those considering house painting and heavy prep. We will happily work with him on projects in future.

Ours is an older house, and we had not painted (actually stained) for many years. Associated with this, we had significant rot/ damage to a number of our exterior window frames and sills, and external door surfaces. Ours is an older house, with original 50+ year old windows (and external storms).

We considered replacing all windows, but wanted to explore repair too.

We found Preserve Services from a mailer that they sent to our home. Nei arrived soon after we contacted them, and did a thorough walk around of the house and damaged areas. He provided us with a quote that validated our decision to repair, rather than replace, windows, sills and frames.

He also recommended that we paint/ stain… and gave us a compelling quote. In our case, he was absolutely correct with the recommendation (and we appreciated him making it to us).

We are extremely pleased with the work that the team did. Total price of the project was very fair, and far less than it would have cost to replace all damaged windows and sills/ frames/ siding.

The crew that did the work was great, responsive, and communications with Nei during the project were fast and clear. We made some mid-project adjustments, and again those were easy and fair.

We cannot recommend Nei and his team more highly. And, when we have more external house work to do, he will be the first one we call.

When Adara Spa moved into its forever home on Peace Street back in 2015, it was truly on a wing and a prayer. The house—now over 100 years old—needed a full transformation. We didn’t have a lot of money, but we had big dreams. I decorated that spa on the tightest budget you can imagine. And over time, the space began to show its age.

Last year, by the grace of God, I received the City of Raleigh’s Building Upfit Grant. And let me tell you—I was even more blessed to be able to work with Osterlund Architects and the incredible team at Preserve Service/Hamlock Service. I cannot say thank you enough to Eric Locklear and Jose Arellano.

These gentlemen took Ashley Sessoms’ vision and brought it to life beautifully. What truly impressed me was how they managed to do the renovations after hours so I could keep my doors open during construction. That’s no small feat. Every morning when I arrived, the space was spotless—painters, drywallers, floor crews had all cleaned up after themselves the night before. They wiped everything down, put away tools, and made sure nothing was out of place. If it weren’t for the subtle signs of construction, you’d never know they’d been there just hours before.

We faced a few unavoidable delays—weather and even my plumber’s heart attack—but even then, I never felt like an afterthought. They stayed in constant communication, followed up, reinspected, and stood by their work from beginning to end.

Great experience working with Matt and team on both painting and carpentry for our triple decker. We wound up needing to replace the front decks, and the team did a great job at a fair (for Cambridge) price. Building looks and feels great. Matt's team stands by their work and came back a year later to patch up a few small things, which we greatly appreciated.

Nei and his team did a great job repainting our porch and replacing torn screens. He was very communicative and got the job done quickly.

I highly recommend Preserve Services! We worked with Wesley Da Silva at Preserve for the replacement of our roof and gutters/downspouts and for exterior painting. Wesley was amazing to work with. He was always available and responsive and managed the crew expertly. Our crew was never pulled off of our job and worked consistently until the job was done. We have a tricky roof/house and the attention to detail by Wesley and his crew really surpassed our expectations. I worked as an architect for 25 years and got several bids for three separate parts of the work: roofing, painting, and gutters/downspouts. While Preserve didn't give us the absolute lowest price when totaled (though close to it), I'm so happy that we trusted that the quality of work would be worth the small additional expense. Going with a company that could competently handle all aspects of the work (as opposed to hiring separate painters and roofers) was the way to go. Just a note about scheduling: every good contractor I've ever worked with has been very busy. This meant delaying the work by a year but I am so happy that we did. I've seen reputable contractors do work in the wrong season for the sake of fitting in as much revenue as possible, but Wesley was very wise in scheduling our work to make sure the different components were done in the correct weather. 6 stars out of 5.

This crew did a great job! We had all of the exterior trim painted and it looks fresh and new! Thy came ahead of time to pressure wash the whole house. On paint day, they showed up on time, worked all day and got it done in the time frame we had discussed. He even replaced a piece of siding that blew off in a storm but we couldn’t reach to fix. Highly recommend.

I’m thrilled with Preserve Services! They were very reasonably priced, efficient and fantastic to work with. I’d give them a 9.9 out of 10! They did some gutter, carpentry and painting work on our carriage house. As you can see from the after and before photos, they did an outstanding job. Will be using them again.
