Preserve Services replaced my outside deck and I am very happy with their work. I also had them replace some rotted wood on the exterior of the house . Rich was really great to work with, helpful and honest. I recommend Preserve Services and will use this company again for any carpentry work .

Preserve Services really did an amazing job with some exterior work on my home. Eric came out twice to give two different estimates, and both times he arrived on time and provided excellent pricing. Jose did a great job communicating with me throughout the whole process. The crew worked very hard and provided high-quality work. We were very pleased with Preserve Services for our exterior paint and carpentry repair project. A four person team was on-site for 4.5 days from start to finish. The team members were courteous and experienced. They cleaned up the grounds before leaving each day. A manager did a home walkaround with us at the conclusion of the project, to make sure we did not have concerns with the workmanship. Five stars!

We had them replace our interior doors, paint our rails and replace all our siding on our house from the 60s. Fast work, knowledgeable, excellent communication throughout the process. It can be hard to find people that want to work on older homes and that will work quickly. Will definitely be working with them again!

This crew did a great job! We had all of the exterior trim painted and it looks fresh and new! Thy came ahead of time to pressure wash the whole house. On paint day, they showed up on time, worked all day and got it done in the time frame we had discussed. He even replaced a piece of siding that blew off in a storm but we couldn’t reach to fix. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend Preserve Services! We worked with Wesley Da Silva at Preserve for the replacement of our roof and gutters/downspouts and for exterior painting. Wesley was amazing to work with. He was always available and responsive and managed the crew expertly. Our crew was never pulled off of our job and worked consistently until the job was done. We have a tricky roof/house and the attention to detail by Wesley and his crew really surpassed our expectations. I worked as an architect for 25 years and got several bids for three separate parts of the work: roofing, painting, and gutters/downspouts. While Preserve didn't give us the absolute lowest price when totaled (though close to it), I'm so happy that we trusted that the quality of work would be worth the small additional expense. Going with a company that could competently handle all aspects of the work (as opposed to hiring separate painters and roofers) was the way to go. Just a note about scheduling: every good contractor I've ever worked with has been very busy. This meant delaying the work by a year but I am so happy that we did. I've seen reputable contractors do work in the wrong season for the sake of fitting in as much revenue as possible, but Wesley was very wise in scheduling our work to make sure the different components were done in the correct weather. 6 stars out of 5.

Nei and his team have done several jobs for us: carpentry (deck post, build a new basement hatch) and paint (porch and window) or prep and stain (porch). Nei communicates clearly and frequently. His team are excellent carpenters and painters. Jobs started and completed on time and at estimated cost. I highly recommend Nei and Preserve.

We’ve now used Preserve Services to replace the flooring in our porch, paint the exterior of our home, and replace privacy fencing on our deck. We keep going back to Preserve because Carol and her crew are top notch professionals. They work quickly, skillfully, and are always respectful of our home and property. Preserve Services just completed significant carpentry work and full house painting this fall. I am thrilled with the results and highly recommend. The experience started with a full walk through of what would be needed to do the job correctly (what needed to be fixed, replaced, sealed, painted......) and then a fair estimate on the work that was discussed.
Once contracts were signed the crew arrived within 1-2 weeks as scheduled. They showed up every day to work until the project was completed. The crew did a great job on the house, but what made the experience better was three things: Daily communication from the crew leader (what was done, what's next, anything they found that may impact progress), daily clean-up of the work area and the owner checking in regularly onsite or by text to help make decisions.
The entire process was stress free and easy. I will hire Mark and his crew again for future work.

Preserve Services just completed work on my home, and they did a fantastic job. It was a complex set of tasks on a 90 year old house that required not only painting, but some tricky carpentry, shingling and repairs that needed to seamlessly match the original woodworking.

Brayan Rovira was the project manager, and was superb to work with. He answered all of my questions from start of the project, through to the end and quickly responded to all of my many emails and questions along the way. He came to inspect the work himself, regularly. His leadership ensured that the project moved along smoothly and efficiently, with no surprises, making use of every available good-weather day to make progress.

I was nervous about the complexity of the job, because there was a fair amount of wood and shingles that needed to be replaced, and one area that had 90 year old natural edge boards, where some of them would need to be replaced with new boards and blended without looking strange. They went above and beyond to make this happen, carving new boards to match the natural edge original siding, seamlessly blending the new wood with the old.

The crew was awesome. They showed up on time and worked long hours. Good guys all around.

I plan on hiring them again to do more work, because they did such a great job.

The owner came and went over every issue I was concerned with and gave me a reasonable quote. He answered every question and got back to me quickly. Every problem we found, he fixed. His workers work hard and are very neat. The work was top quality. There was nothing left undone or done sloppily. I will not hesitate a minute to call them again for my next project.

The owner, Rich Babineau, fulfilled every promise made, and oversaw his excellent employees from start to finish. The painters were very skillful and worked an eleven hour day due to a rainy forcast. The owner held to his estimate doing some minor carpentry at no additional charge. I recommend them without resevation and will have them back in the future.

Preserve Services in Newton recently replaced rotted trim and stairs and decking and painted my shingle siding, decks, railings and trim. The work was excellent , done in a timely manner, and the price was fair. The project was managed by Nathan Santa Rosa who maintained excellent communication and understood and remembered all the details we discussed in defining the project. The project went very well.

A previous independent contractor replaced some light fixtures on our side door. The original fixtures were attached directly to our siding and the new ones were just loosely attached.

I texted pictures to Eric; he came back with a quote right away and within a week, reinstalled the light on a PVC base and painted it to match the trim.

All for a very reasonable price.

Great experience working with Matt and team on both painting and carpentry for our triple decker. We wound up needing to replace the front decks, and the team did a great job at a fair (for Cambridge) price. Building looks and feels great. Matt's team stands by their work and came back a year later to patch up a few small things, which we greatly appreciated.
